An 18-inch downrod for ceiling fans, finished in bronze accent, for mounting your fan at the ideal height in rooms with higher ceilings.
This Fanimation downrod extends your ceiling fan 18 inches from the ceiling, letting you position the fan lower for better airflow and comfort. The bronze accent finish adds a warm, refined touch that complements fans with bronze or brass details. It's a simple, sturdy accessory that makes installation straightforward.
Best for
- Living rooms and family rooms with ceilings 9 feet or higher, where a standard flush mount would leave the fan too high
- Bedrooms with vaulted or sloped ceilings, to bring the fan down to an effective height
- Great rooms and open-concept spaces where the fan needs to be lowered to circulate air effectively
- Replacing a shorter downrod to improve air circulation in a large room
Not ideal for
- Rooms with low ceilings under 8 feet, where a downrod would make the fan hang too low
- Damp or wet locations, as this downrod is rated for dry locations only
Style and finish
The bronze accent finish has a warm, medium brown tone with subtle highlights, complementing traditional and transitional fan designs. It's a versatile finish that works well with wood tones and warm neutral palettes.
Materials and care
Made from durable steel with a baked-on finish. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the finish.
Sizing and fit
This downrod measures 18 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter, fitting standard ceiling fans that accept 1-inch downrods. Always check your fan's compatibility before purchasing.
