A 12-inch ceiling fan downrod in Metro Gray stainless steel, for mounting your fan at the ideal height on standard or sloped ceilings.
This downrod from Fanimation extends your ceiling fan's drop by 12 inches, letting you position airflow exactly where you need it. The Metro Gray finish blends with a range of fan styles, while the stainless steel construction resists corrosion for long-lasting performance. It's a simple, essential accessory for a proper fan installation.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings higher than 8 feet, where a standard flush mount would leave the fan too high for effective airflow
- Covered outdoor patios and porches, thanks to its wet-rated construction
- Replacing a shorter downrod to achieve the recommended 7-8 feet from floor to fan blades
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings when used with an appropriate ceiling fan mounting adapter
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, where a flush mount or low-profile kit is usually a better fit
- Fans that don't use a standard downrod mounting system
Style and finish
The Metro Gray finish offers a contemporary, neutral look that pairs well with modern and transitional fan designs. The stainless steel material provides a sleek, durable surface that resists rust and corrosion.
