A 12-inch downrod for ceiling fans, finished in satin nickel, for extending your fan's mounting height.
This Fanimation downrod is a simple, sturdy way to lower your ceiling fan to the ideal height for your room. The satin nickel finish pairs well with a variety of fan styles and complements modern and transitional interiors. It's designed for use in dry locations, making it a reliable choice for most indoor rooms.
Best for
- Living rooms with high or vaulted ceilings, where a standard flush mount leaves the fan too high for effective airflow
- Bedrooms with ceilings above 9 feet, to position the fan for optimal comfort
- Replacing a shorter downrod to achieve the recommended 8-10 feet from floor to fan blades
- Ceiling fans with a 1-inch diameter downrod connection
- Indoor spaces like dining rooms and family rooms that need better air circulation
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or damp locations, as this downrod is rated for dry locations only
- Ceiling fans that require a larger or smaller downrod diameter than 1 inch
- Rooms with very low ceilings where a flush mount would be more appropriate
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan downrod, not a light fixture, so it does not produce light. It is used to mount a ceiling fan that may include a light kit.
Light color and feel
This downrod does not emit light. Light color and feel are determined by the light kit on your ceiling fan.
Sizing and fit
This downrod measures 12 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter. It is designed to fit ceiling fans that accept a 1-inch downrod. The 12-inch length is ideal for standard 8-9 foot ceilings to achieve proper fan height.
