- Bedrooms with ceiling fans, providing soft ambient light for relaxation
- Living rooms and family rooms, adding a warm layer of light for everyday activities
- Covered patios or porches (damp-rated), extending comfort into outdoor living areas
- Replacing an existing light kit on a compatible Fanimation ceiling fan
- Homes with 8-foot or higher ceilings, as the kit adds minimal height
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is not wet-rated

- Ceiling fans not compatible with this specific Fanimation light kit model
How bright is it?
This light kit uses three 50-watt halogen mini-can bulbs (not included), producing approximately 150 watts total. Halogen bulbs are known for their bright, crisp light, but the amber glass shades soften the output, creating a warm, inviting glow. It's ideal for ambient lighting, not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The amber frosted glass shades produce a warm, golden light that flatters skin tones and complements wood and earth-toned interiors. The color temperature is not specified, but halogen bulbs typically emit a warm white light around 3000K. This kit is not dimmable with a standard dimmer; check your fan's remote or wall control for dimming capabilities.
Sizing and fit
This light kit measures 11.65 inches in length, width, and height, with a compact profile that fits most ceiling fans. It adds only 6 inches of height to your fan, making it suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The kit is designed for use with compatible Fanimation ceiling fans; verify compatibility before purchasing.
