A 22-inch round LED flush mount in terra cotta cast concrete with a scalloped edge and a curved opal white acrylic diffuser - built for bedrooms, hallways, and other low-ceiling spaces that need soft, even light.
The Souffle collection borrows its shape from a classic ramekin: a deep pan of cast concrete with a traditional scalloped rim, finished in terra cotta. The organic texture of the concrete gives each piece subtle character, while the curved opal acrylic diffuser hides an integrated LED source and spreads light evenly across the ceiling. It reads as quiet, sculptural, and a little bit architectural - at home in Mediterranean, modern organic, and warm contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms 10x12 ft or larger, mounted as the central ceiling light where a low-profile fixture is preferred
- Hallways and entryways that need even ambient light without hanging below the ceiling line
- Low ceilings (8 ft or under) where a pendant or semi-flush would hang too close to head height
- Mediterranean and warm modern interiors that lean on terracotta, plaster, and earthy neutrals
Not ideal for
- Very large rooms as the only light source - 1900 lumens suits a bedroom or hallway, not a great room
- Spaces where you want a visible statement fixture - this sits just 4.75 in off the ceiling
- Anyone expecting a metal or glass shade - the body is cast concrete with an acrylic diffuser
How bright is it?
1900 lumens - roughly comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb, or a bit more. That is comfortable ambient light for a bedroom, hallway, or bathroom-sized room, but not enough to be the sole light in a large open-plan space.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone close to traditional incandescent, flattering to skin tones and warm wood or terracotta finishes. CRI 90 means colors render accurately, which matters in bathrooms and dressing areas. Dimmable with Triac or ELV dimmers, so you can take it down to a low glow in the evening.
Sizing and fit
22 in long x 22 in wide x 4.75 in high, with a 17 x 17 x 2.5 in canopy and a 4 in shade height. The 22-inch diameter suits bedrooms roughly 10x12 ft and up, hallways at least 4 ft wide, and bathrooms with a ceiling height of 8 ft or more. Weighs 7 lbs.

What's the warranty? 5 years from Maxim Lighting.
How does the terra cotta concrete finish compare to painted orange? It is a matte, slightly textured cast concrete in a warm earthy orange rather than a smooth painted surface, so it has a subtle stone-like look with minor tonal variation.
