A 68.75-inch round close-to-ceiling light for large dining rooms and open kitchens, finished in vintage gold leaf with Blonchino piastre glass shades.
The Kune close-to-ceiling fixture is inspired by the fluid sweep of a continuous ribbon. Its vintage gold leaf-finished steel frame dips slightly below the ceiling plane, adding depth and a sense of motion to the design. Curving lines are accented by two sizes of Blonchino piastre glass shades, each with a delicate triangular detail at the center. Part of the Noz Nozawa collection.
Best for
- Large dining rooms with 9 ft ceilings where a low-profile statement light is needed
- Open-concept kitchens and living areas that need a sculptural focal point
- Grand foyers and entryways with generous ceiling space
- Great rooms with high ceilings that can carry a 68.75-inch round form
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not compatible with sloped ceiling mounting
- Small or standard-size rooms where a 68.75-inch round span would overwhelm the ceiling
- Spaces needing a brighter primary room light - this is an accent and ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With 7 integrated LED bulbs at 71 total watts, this fixture provides ambient and accent illumination - ideal for layering over a large dining table or in an open kitchen, not as a sole primary light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. The integrated LED source is dimmable with ELV or TRIAC dimmers, letting you tune the mood from bright task lighting to a soft evening glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 68.75 in wide/diameter x 10.5 in high, with a 5.5 in round canopy. The 68.75-inch round span suits large dining rooms and open kitchens. The low 10.5-inch profile works well under standard 9 ft ceilings.
