A 1-light pendant from Besa Lighting's Mitzi 10 collection, featuring a satin nickel finish and blue striped European glass, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Mitzi 10 pendant combines a stylized multi-striped outer European glass with a matte opal inner diffuser, creating dimensional depth through layers. The stripes alternate between inside and outside the glass, producing a mix of glossy and matte finishes. The inner opal glass is a soft white cased style with a smooth satin finish, achieved through an extensive etching process. This stem pendant includes an adjustable telescoping section, four connectable stem sections (3", 6", 12", and 18"), and a low-profile flat monopoint canopy, all in a beautiful satin nickel finish.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, providing a warm focal point above the table
- Entryways and foyers, adding a contemporary accent
- Open-plan living areas, used as a cluster to define zones
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop, as the stem sections add length
- Primary room lighting in large open spaces - a single 40W bulb provides accent or ambient light, not full illumination
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but with a 40W E26 medium-base bulb (not included), it provides a moderate glow suitable for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. If you choose a 2700K-3000K bulb, you'll get a warm, inviting glow that flatters wood and neutral palettes. The fixture is not dimmable unless you install a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 9.88" (L) x 9.88" (W) x 8.5" (H), with a canopy of 5" (L) x 5" (W) x 0.62" (H). The adjustable stem allows for customization to fit ceiling heights from 8 to 10 feet. Ideal for kitchen islands, dining tables, and entryways.
