A 12-inch single-light cord pendant from Besa Lighting's Kiev Collection, finished in brushed bronze with a white glass shade - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Kiev pendant combines the shimmer of glass with the visual interest of cut metal. Random stenciled openings along the bottom of the shade create a compelling play of light and shadow, casting sparkle onto adjacent surfaces. The fixture comes with a 10-foot SVT cordset and a low-profile flat monopoint canopy, making it easy to install in a variety of spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row or singly for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient and accent illumination
- Entryways and foyers, adding a modern sculptural touch
- Coffee bars and home bars, providing warm accent light
- Open-plan living areas, used as a statement piece above a console or sideboard
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 10-foot cord length
How bright is it?
This pendant uses a single 60W E26 medium-base bulb (not included) and produces approximately 800 lumens - about as bright as a standard 60W incandescent bulb. It's ideal for accent and ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
With a 3000K warm white LED (if using the LED version), the light has a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It flatters skin tones and warm wood or brass interiors. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmers and bulbs, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 12.5 inches wide and 8.75 inches high, with a 5-inch canopy. The 10-foot cord allows for hanging at various heights, suitable for ceilings up to 10 feet. Ideal for kitchen islands, dining tables, and entryways.
