A compact 8-inch cord pendant with a European glass shade, finished in bronze, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Hula 8 Pendant features a distinctive glass shade with a black band that divides clear glass above and below, creating a soft glow while adding a touch of farmhouse-inspired style. The brushed bronze finish on the brass and steel construction complements the black glass, making it a versatile choice for various decor themes. This pendant comes with a 10-foot cord and a low-profile canopy for easy installation.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 4-6 ft counter
- Dining rooms, hung 30-36 inches above a table for ambient light
- Breakfast nooks or bar areas, adding a stylish accent
- Entryways or hallways, as a decorative statement piece
- Open-plan living spaces, used in multiples for a cohesive look
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a main light source
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp locations, not wet
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 10-foot cord
How bright is it?
With a 60W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant provides about 800 lumens - similar to a standard 60W bulb, suitable for task and ambient lighting, but not as a sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
Using a standard A19 bulb, you can choose your preferred color temperature. The clear glass with a black band diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you use a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer, you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 8 inches in diameter and 7.75 inches in height. The 10-foot cord allows for hanging at various heights, suitable for ceilings up to 9 feet. The canopy is 5 inches square and 0.62 inches high.
