A 16-inch 4-light foyer lantern pendant in matte black metal, sized for two-story entries and open stairwells.
The Courtney opens up the classic lantern with curved corners and an airy geometric silhouette, so it reads bold without feeling heavy. The matte black finish is powder coated and neutral, which lets the shape do the talking in modern, transitional, and industrial-leaning homes.
Best for
- Two-story foyers and entryways where a 22.5 to 144.5 inch hanging height can drop into the open space
- Stairwells and open landings that need a statement piece visible from below
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks with 9 ft or higher ceilings
- Covered porches and covered patios, since the fixture is UL listed
Not ideal for
- Standard 8 ft ceilings if you want the full 120 inch chain deployed - you will need to shorten the chain
- Small powder rooms or closets where a 16 inch wide lantern would crowd the space
- Anyone wanting a fully enclosed shade - this is an open-cage design with exposed bulbs
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. Brightness depends on the four E12 candelabra bulbs you install, up to 60W each - with 60W equivalent LEDs the fixture produces a bright, layered glow suitable as the primary light in a foyer or dining room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. With 2700K-3000K warm white bulbs it gives a soft, golden tone that flatters wood floors and dark walls; with 4000K bulbs it reads crisper and more modern. The fixture is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.

Frequently asked

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable when used with dimmable LED, CFL, or incandescent bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The manufacturer does not specify a dimmer brand.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? The fixture is UL listed and rated for dry locations only, so it is not intended for bathrooms with shower exposure or uncovered outdoor areas. A covered porch or patio is acceptable.
What's the warranty? Includes a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty.
Will this work on a sloped ceiling? The manufacturer does not specify sloped-ceiling compatibility; the included canopy is flat, so a sloped-ceiling adapter may be needed.
