A 42-inch linear island chandelier for kitchen islands and dining tables, finished in black with brushed brass accents and clear glass panels.
The Lucian collection, designed by Kevin Kraemer, gives the classic lantern a modern linear form. This six-light chandelier pairs black steel framing with brushed brass accents and clear glass panels that surround the bulbs, so the light stays bright and unobstructed. It comes with extra rods for height adjustment and a hangstraight for sloped ceilings, making it a flexible choice over a long island or dining table.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6 ft or longer that need even overhead light
- Dining rooms with rectangular tables
- Open-concept kitchens and dining areas
- Sloped ceilings - includes a hangstraight for angled mounting
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens or dining nooks where a 42-inch fixture would overwhelm the space
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 72-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It takes six 40W-equivalent E26 LED bulbs (not included), so with standard 40W-equivalent LEDs you get roughly 2,700-3,000 lumens total - enough to light a kitchen island or dining table as the primary light source.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulbs you install. With 2700K-3000K warm white LEDs, the black and brass finish will feel warm and sophisticated; with 4000K bulbs it will read cooler and more modern. The fixture is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 42 in L x 10 in W x 10 in H. It includes 6x12 in and 4x6 in rods, with a maximum hanging length of 72 in and a minimum hanging height of 6 in. The 42-inch length suits islands and tables roughly 6-8 ft long. It is compatible with sloped ceilings.
