A 48-inch linear island chandelier for kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in satin black with smoke glass shades.
The Henley 4-light linear chandelier stretches 48 inches across, making it a natural fit over a kitchen island or a long dining table. Satin black hardware is suspended on wires, and the smoke glass shades give the light a moody, contemporary edge. The linear shape keeps sightlines open across the room rather than blocking them like a round chandelier would.
Best for
- Kitchen islands roughly 5-6 ft long, hung as the primary task and ambient light
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table 6 ft or longer
- Open-concept kitchens where a linear fixture defines the cooking zone
- Modern, industrial, or transitional interiors with black hardware
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for interior/dry locations only
- Small kitchens or breakfast nooks - at 48 inches wide it needs a long surface below
- Rooms where you need dimming - this model is not dimmable
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you install. It takes four 60W medium-base E26 bulbs (not included), which is roughly 3,200 lumens total with standard incandescent bulbs - enough to light a kitchen island or dining table as the primary fixture.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb choice. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, inviting glow for dining; a 3500K-4000K bulb reads crisper for kitchen tasks. Note this model is not dimmable, so choose your bulb's brightness and color carefully.
Sizing and fit
Measures 48 in L x 8 in W x 97.5 in H overall, including the wire suspension. It is sloped-ceiling adaptable, so it works over vaulted ceilings. Weighs 22 lbs. Plan on a hanging height that leaves 30-36 inches between the bottom of the fixture and your island or table.
