A 12-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light for bedrooms, hallways, and foyers, finished in black and nickel with a clear glass bell shade.
The Cheshire Collection by Kevin Kraemer pairs a black metal frame with polished nickel accents for a crisp, contemporary look. The clear glass bell shade shows off the bulb and the knurled detailing on the candle cover and knobs. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works well in rooms where a full pendant would hang too low.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Hallways and foyers where a close-to-ceiling light is needed
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas that need ambient light
- Entryways with a single overhead light point
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you need a dimmable fixture - this model is not dimmable
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - not rated for sloped ceiling installation
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W incandescent or LED bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose - with a standard 60W-equivalent LED you get roughly 800 lumens, about as bright as a traditional 60W bulb. That is enough for ambient light in a small to medium room, but not as a primary light for a large open space.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you install. With a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) it gives a soft, golden tone that flatters wood and neutral interiors. The clear glass shade lets the bulb show, so a decorative bulb is worth considering.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 in L x 8.25 in W x 13.5 in H. The shade is 8.25 in L x 8.25 in W x 8.25 in H, and the canopy is 4.75 in L x 4.75 in D x 1 in H. Minimum and maximum hanging height are both 13.5 in. Best for rooms with ceilings 8 ft or higher.
