A 16-inch modern semi-flush mount with illuminated silicone drapes for bedrooms and hallways that need a sculptural ceiling light.
Designed by Kevin Kraemer for the Artcraft Cascata Collection, this semi-flush mount combines a black metal frame with brushed brass accents and white silicone drapes that glow with integrated LED light. The irregular, flowing shape gives the illusion of weightlessness - it's a statement piece for modern and contemporary interiors. The single integrated LED bulb produces 690 lumens at 3000K warm white.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings that need a decorative ceiling light
- Hallways and entryways where a semi-flush mount won't interfere with sightlines
- Living rooms with modern or contemporary decor that can support a statement piece
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas with lower ceilings
- Commercial spaces like boutique hotels or restaurants with modern interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large living rooms or open-plan spaces over 150 sq ft where 690 lumens won't be enough as a primary light
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not rated for sloped ceiling installation
- Traditional or rustic interiors - the modern silicone drapes are a distinct contemporary look
How bright is it?
690 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb. That's bright enough to serve as a primary light in a small bedroom or hallway, but it's not designed to light a large open living area on its own.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, slightly golden tone similar to traditional incandescent light. It flatters warm wood tones and neutral paint colors. CRI is 80, which is fine for general lighting but not ideal for tasks that need precise color rendering. Dimmable with a compatible LED dimmer (dimmer not included).
Sizing and fit
15.75 inches in diameter and 12 inches tall, so it sits close to the ceiling. Works well in rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings. Not rated for sloped ceilings. Hardwired installation with partial assembly required.
