The champagne textured glass softens and warms the light, so the fixture reads as a sculptural centerpiece rather than a row of bulbs. Because it mounts flush, it works in rooms where a hanging fixture would crowd the space, and it ships as a truck freight item because of its weight.

Best for

Dining rooms and bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings

Entryways and foyers that need a wide, low-profile statement light

Damp-rated rooms such as a large bathroom, thanks to its CETL Damp listing

Anyone who wants the Watertown look without a chain-hung fixture

Not ideal for

Sloped or vaulted ceilings - this fixture is not sloped-ceiling compatible

Very small rooms, where a 27.5 in diameter flush mount will dominate

Anyone who wants to install it alone - at 66 lbs it needs two people and a rated ceiling box

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. You will be responsible for taking it off of the back of the truck, so please be prepared to move the unit to its final destination.
